Prof. Bryan Wagner

His research focuses on African American expression in the context of slavery and its aftermath, and he has specific interests in legal history, vernacular expression, urban studies, and digital humanities.

While at the Émile Durkheim Research unit for crisis analysis, Prof. Wagner organized with Prof. Sabine Meyer the „Law, Culture(s), and Religion: Cross-Cultural Challenges of Canon Law“, Workshop „Law and Humanities“,  3.–4. Juli, University of Bonn and contributed to the construction of a working group between the law faculty of Hongkong, UC Berkeley, Colombia Universty and the University of Bonn.

Prof. Dr. Chioma Daisy Onyige

Research Fellow

Professor of Criminology at the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
Her research areas include gender and crime, environmental sociology, gender and climate change, and cognate issues such as conflict and peace building. 

While at the Émile Durkheim Research unit for crisis analysis, Professor Onyige will be working on her research entitled "Navigating Borders and Barriers: The Intersection of Gender, Justice, and Migration in Crisis Situations".
